THE NEED TO KNOW
-
HELD is a six-week, movement-based nervous system wellness program.
The focus is on regulation, emotional release, embodiment, and real human connection.
Through gentle, guided practices and attuned support, this work helps your nervous system soften and restore capacity — at a pace that feels manageable and kind.
-
HELD is for people who are carrying a lot; emotionally, mentally, or quietly in the body. People who are longing for care that feels personal, respectful, and human.
This space is especially supportive if you value intimacy, honesty, and being met as you are, without pressure to perform, explain, or “get it right.”
Due to the nature of this work, space is limited to 8 people to ensure safety, presence, and meaningful connection.
HELD is for you if:You feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or emotionally full
You’re seeking nervous system support that is gentle and embodied
You value intimacy, slowness, and depth
You’re open to movement as a pathway to regulation and release
You want to feel more present, grounded, and connected or
You’re looking for somatic workouts as a form of release
HELD may not be right for you if:
You want quick fixes or purely intellectual learning
You prefer large, fast-paced group programs
You’re unable to commit to a 6-week process
-
The program begins the first week of February 2026 and unfolds over six weeks, offering time for settling, integration, and steady support rather than rush or intensity.
-
HELD is offered within a small, private group container of no more than 8 participants, allowing for depth, safety, and individual attention.
For those based in London, sessions may be held in person.
For participants living outside of London, one-on-one private sessions are offered online, ensuring you receive the same level of care, attunement, and support regardless of location.
All access details are shared upon enrollment.
-
This work is guided with care, consent, and choice.
You’ll be offered gentle movement and nervous system–informed practices that can be adapted to your needs at the moment. Nothing is forced. You’re welcome to move, pause, rest, or simply witness. All of it is part of the work.
The facilitation is deeply one-on-one in quality, attuned to each person’s unique nervous system and capacity.
-
So many of us are living in a state of ongoing activation.
The pace of the world, constant input, and collective uncertainty can leave the nervous system overloaded even when things look “fine” on the outside.
Over time, this can affect how safe, present, and connected we feel.
HELD offers a different rhythm.
This is a space to slow down, be met with individual care, and support your nervous system in finding more ease and steadiness — not as a luxury, but as a necessity in a world that asks a lot.
-
Early Commitment Option
To honor those who feel ready to step in early, the first 5 participants who secure their place with a £500 deposit by January 20 may access the full program for £1,200 instead of £1,500.
This is not about pressure or urgency. Simply a way to offer accessibility and care to those who already feel a clear yes.
Full program cost: £1,500
This reflects the small group size, the depth of care offered, and the individualized attention each participant receives over six weeks.
-
HELD is not a large-scale program or a content-based course.
Your investment supports:
Individual, one-on-one quality attention, whether in a group setting or private online sessions
A small group of 8, allowing for genuine connection and nervous system safety
Thoughtfully paced sessions that prioritize regulation, integration, and care
An approach rooted in lived experience, presence, and years of community-based practice
Your investment also directly supports a Black, Indigenous, POC queer community leader whose work is shaped by lived experience, cultural labor, and long-term care for community.
By choosing HELD, you are supporting the healer as they offer the medicine, sustaining work that has been built through years of devotion, relationship, and responsibility rather than extraction or scale.
This is care offered with integrity, and received with reciprocity.
-
HELD is rooted in care, consent, and respect for lived experience.
This work honors nervous system diversity, cultural lineage, and the wisdom of the body. It is shaped by over two decades of community-based practice, relationship, and accountability — not trends or extraction.
At its core, HELD is guided by values of reciprocity, integrity, and presence. The space is held with attention to power, difference, and choice, so that each participant can arrive as they are and be met with dignity.
-
Care looks different for each body and nervous system.
Practices within HELD are adaptable and invitational, with space to move, rest, pause, or simply observe. You are encouraged to listen to your capacity and engage in ways that feel supportive rather than overwhelming.
While this offering cannot meet every access need, care is taken to communicate clearly, honor boundaries, and remain responsive where possible. If you have access needs or questions, you’re welcome to share them through the reflection form so we can explore what support might be available.

Reviews
“Before working together I was experiencing a lifetime of being blocked from my sexual power and feminine flow. I had lots of shame and fear around being seen vulnerably in my movement and staying present enough to bring fourth the attitude required to SERVE. Little did I know there was so much I was yet to be exposed to in myself which was the truth of who I was.
I truly have never been the same since working with Kumari. I opened up in ways that I never had before and allowed myself to be seen vulnerably, in my physical movement, in ways that I never had before. Exploring my body in that way, definitely created much more confidence and support in my physical expression as a human being. It changed my life!”
Kumari is kind, compassionate, caring, competent, educated and a lot of fun! I would tell new clients that Kumari is a safe place to grow and expand.

"Kumari's insight and intuitive offerings helped anchor me in an identity I was familiar with but still figuring out. Embodiment through movement practices, ancestral connectivity through storytelling and elder presence as well as fostering a deeper power of creative force through fellowship. All of this and more were integral parts of me holding space for my own growth while being HELD in genuine care. Highly recommend!"
